Saint George
This work is in several layers of paper. 35cms x 35cms. Supplied without frame and glass.

Sait George is normally depicted in 11th/12th century armour, fighting a dragon. He was actually a Decurion (Modern day term is Major) in the Roman army, and was martyred in 405 A.D. 800 years before his import into Europe. In this work he is depicted in his true attire as that of a 3rd century Decurion in the Roman army. The dragon is a metafore for paganism. However, I am myself a pagan and therefore will not depict George with a dragon.

The price is set at 900 Dkk + shipping. More detailed photos are available if required. If you wish to buy, contact me at the email address below to negotiate details of your purchase.
